It's all what you want to do with it, you will probobly spend a lot less $ just rebuilding the 55 axles, not to mention that the 60 axles are wider, and will reqire some welding and fabrication, in order to center the axles. best of luck

Man trust me, don’t spend the $$$ on the stereo. You will kick yourself later or better yet save it for the tow rig. Wait till you submerge those thousands of dollars worth of stereo in a creek in the middle of the night. That carpet on your box stays wet for weeks, and the smell never goes away...
If it is a standard GM alternator you should be able to get one just about anywhere. I changed my 40 over to a GM, cut several wires out of the harness, and it took care of some of my gremlins. but i am still running a 6 in it.

There is a guy on 360 right outside of south boston, i can't remeber his name to save my life, but he had like 20 crusiers scattered around his yard, I think his name was eric or ernest something along those lines, good luck.
