I'm looking to fit bolts with the correct head pattern...sounds anal I know, but there are several bolts that will fit and work...all with slightly different heads. I'd just like a photo from someone who thinks they have the original bolts holding their guards on.
Can anyone with an original FJ (1978) show me a picture of the bold heads and the size of the bolts that hold the guards that fit behind the tail lights under the frame? I don't have the bolts and would like to get the right ones back on.
Subcribed as I need some as well for my '78. Last I looked online, cruiser corp had OEM panels listed for '78. Can anyone confirm or have experience with the "OEM" ones that cruiser corp sells?
Getting ready to tear into my 40 which has been in the family for years. I would appreciate feedback on what parts are worth splurging on for oem and what can be done with quality aftermarket without noticable difference in fit, function and appearance vs oem. I am especially curious about this...
