I did use the correct fluid. Purchased it directly from Lexus. I'm not sure if fluid was lost during the axle swap.

She's back! After a rigorous search for a used axle I decided to purchase a new housing tube. The only issue I had post installation was the AHC which initially had me spinning but it was simply low on fluid.

I did purchase a axle housing tube from Lexus. The few that where in the scrap yards were in awful shape. It took weeks to conclude that going new would bring piece of mind. Looks pretty good and I finally got her back a couple of days ago.

It turns out the system was low on oil. The reservoir was bone dry. Nice to know that that was the only issue and thank you jdlsantos for chiming in!

Good morning gents, I just had the rear axle housing tubing replaced and my AHC will not allow me to change from LO and the OFF indicator is on. Can you help a brother out?
