I saw a couple roof rack videos on YT. They stated it’s the lowest profile roof rack for the 100. Prospeed is the company. I’m not sure if it’s true that it’s the lowest but looks slim.
I know the feeling, congrats. Just got back in a 100 as well. Put 50k on a ‘17 Sierra Denali the last few years…it had the 6.2 and ultimate package. Had it on 35’s and small tasteful things done. I regretted selling my 06 LC though. Got back in a 06 (LX this time) last month and am loving it.
295/70R18 installed today. Did the pinch weld mod but haven’t messed w/ washer fluid cover or reformed the plastic in front of the pinch weld. No rubbing that I can feel/hear or see since driving ~30 miles day 1. Will keep an eye. For sure noticeably taller, thankfully. In high mode it looks...
275/70R18 = 33.2
295/70R18 = 34.3
285/75R18 = 34.8
Sizes calc to the above. I added 295 in there b/c that’s a popular option folks run on this thread. It’s what I’ll be going with. I had 285/75R18 on my last vehicle and loved the size, plenty of sidewall. A little extra leaning in the corners...
+1 on Auxito - have all lights replaced w/ theirs on our GX and LX. Not the blueish tone lights like some. just nice crisp white. They had everything for the GX and LX minus the itty bitty ones for the glove box, etc. Sourced those from a random no name on Amazon.
Do you think these would fit w/ the side steps still on? I have the same setup as you and wondering if I can wait to remove the side steps or if I'll need to remove them prior to throwing the tires on. I will remove them, just not sure I'll have time before adding the tires. Also will do pinch...
Bump for the same.
Curious if there’s a more modern antenna we could use for Sirius/XM. Has anyone replaced the OEM to get better reception? Being out of a 100 for a while and now back in one (thankfully!), I forgot how annoying the intermittent connection was in some areas!
