    Tire Rack/Discount Tire?

    Has anyone ever used Discount Tire or Tire Rack to order wheels/tires? Their database doesn’t list FJ40 only Landcruisers back to the early 80’s. If I find a wheel and tire package that fits an early Landcruiser should it still fit my 65 FJ40?

    So I’m trying to pull the new studs into the hub using a 1/2” impact wrench. All it seems to be doing is mashing the knurled portion of the new lug.... Anybody have any tips, tricks or suggestions?

    So, if I’m understanding you correctly, the knurled part of the lug doesn’t have to match...... the knurled portion of the hub will be deformed to fit the new pattern when the new stud is pressed/pulled into place?

    you can go with a direct floor shift assembly if that is the way you want to go. I think I have a complete setup in Helena if interested, but this is tech not classifieds. I was thinking that a floor shift might be a better setup....

    Is there a way to bypass the vacuum actuating system? I assume this is the portion of the transfer case that serves the case from high to low…… Is low “in” and high “out”?
