    LX 470 Shocks compatible?

I received and changed the rear shock. Visually they were the same as the old, hydraulic connection was the same. Replacement shock was from a year 2000 LC100 with V8 and fitted to my 2005 diesel. Over all great success.

    LX 470 Shocks compatible?

Did it work for you? I have found a pair of 48530-69116 from a 2000 LC100 uzj at the breaker for a 10th of the price of one new 48530-69155 from the local dealer. Other sources are cheaper but I need to fix it asap. Will the shock fit my 2005 hdj? What changed in the AHC over the years?

    Stereo FAQ

I hope you are correct. (Which you probably are) Just wanted to post some findings I did. One project involving adding an aux in on a factory Toyota HU. TOYOTA Corolla MP3 Project And this that claims that they can turn on the factory amplifier with their adapter: Product It should be...

    Stereo FAQ

Plug seems to be the same. I don't have a ewd for my 2005 LC. In my stupidness I assumed that the ewd for 2004 and 2005 would be identical. At least regarding the navigation system there are differences. I have my suspicions that each speaker has their own set of wiring. (One pair of wiring for...

    Stereo FAQ

I'm doing a nav delete on 2005 LC100. A surprise for me was that the OEM amplifier is controlled by AVC-LAN so I can't use it with my new Pioneer headunit. Until I decide which aftermarket amplifier I will use I was thinking of running the factory speakers from the HU. Is there a harness that...

    AHC troubles

Short version: Fixed broken wire. All seems to work Long version: I bought 5 meters cable with 7 wires inside that is used for wiring lights on trailers and a cable protection hose similar to what Mr T puts on the trucks he produces. I then checked all of the wires for the control valve...

Ok, I will try to accept that explanation for now.

    AHC troubles

I redid the solenoid test and got 3.8 ohms on all 4 of them, so I guess that I am down to a wire. If I read the ewd correctly then it is the black-yellow wire. What I cant read out is in which connector in the rear corner the harness goes. Also since the under body is covered in a substance...

    AHC troubles

I did the manual readouts and got: 18, 31, 32, 33, 34, 36, 63 and 64. After clearing the dtc's only 32 remains and I can now see that code in Techstream too. Thank you PADDO! ALL the active tests still fails in Techstream. The trucks rear height sensor says -76mm and front wheels are -9mm vs...

    AHC troubles

Yes, I disconnected the batteries. The HDJ100 has dual batteries in parallel. The only result from this was that the vgrs got confused. It was an awkward feeling driving with the steering wheel 180 degrees wrong and feeling it slowly adjust to the correct position while driving. First I thought...

    AHC troubles

It is hard to find someone that knows something about the AHC-system. I left the truck at a small shop that works with car electrics. I told them my findings and gave them the wiring diagrams and said that I suspected a faulty wire. One a half day later I pick up the truck. They haven't made any...

The relay tests ok. I can hear the relay click both closing and then open again when the off indicator starts flashing in the dash. After relay opens again, I have 0.18volts on pin 1 and 3

    AHC troubles

I measure the relay and the red/white is 12.5. Blue/white is 12.5 only when key is turned to ignition. After that it decreases to about zero. Can I try a normal cube relay instead of the beer shaped one?
