I just went out and checked. Oil leak has stopped. I cleaned all the surfaces again, basically made a gasket with rtv, torque all the bolts and let it set for about 2 hours. No leak. 😎🤙🏼

Is part number 15621 a gasket besides the one that is attached to the oil filter that goes inside the housing?

It does make a gurgling noise right before it starts leaking. I’ve looked with a light as best as I can.

Double checked the print twice where the oil filter is. It’s only leaking when running. Any thoughts?

After I replace the oil cooler orings from the Toyota dealership the leak look like it transferred back to the oil filter housing. I had cleaned and scraped it clean with a razor blade. So the bolts are snugged down really well. Just can’t figure out where I’d coming from. Very irritating

New gaskets and still leaking. I’m kinda at my whits end. I think I’m going to go rtv route.🤬

I ordered the gaskets from Toyota for the cooler, apparently regular o-rings do not work.

Only thing I have seen is the gaskets. Hopefully someone will chime in if there is a spacer.

Today I got the steering completed. Brakes are hooked up and bled. Oil still leaking like crazy. I have narrowed it down to the oil cooler gaskets. I scrounged around and found some oil rings and tried them. They absolutely did not work. Called Toyota dealer and ordered the correct ones...

Got the steering mocked in tonight. Hopefully finishing brakes this weekend and troubleshooting the oil filter housing.
