I was originally inspired by my uncle and his HDJ-80 overland setup to get Land Cruiser fever. Inspiration soon turned into a hunt for a 70 series Cruiser after I fell in love with them living in Japan. Since that time, I have been fortunate enough to learn to wrench and wheel Cruisers from some wonderful folks and eventually purchase a unique ’91 LJ-78 Prado with a VDJ 70 front clip that like every well kempt Cruiser is a constant project.
