My old 22RE used to do that, the fuel filter was pretty much plugged and causing too much draw from the fuel pump. Changed it out and the fuse stopped blowing. Then the fuel pump cratered 2 weeks later :)

How can I check to see if my clutch is slipping? The cruiser sure does seem gutless going up hills and the compression is reasonable

I'll try opening it up and checking out the bearings then. I forgot to mention, the one TRE that was being rubbed was pretty much toasted (rubber boot was rubbed right off teh one side). I didn't have any of the shaking before even with this, but could this be a possible culprt as well...

I had 31x10.5 muds on 15x6 rims. I changed the tires over to some newly painted 15x8 rims (and had them balanced) as the tires were bulging out too much and contacted the TRE at full right turn. Steering was "fine" before (albeit pretty loose), but after theI put the tires on I've got a fair...

I get a fair bit in mine w/ 31' tires. They don't stick out past the fender, but the fender was cut up when I trimmed the rockers, so quite a bit sneaks in through there.

I have 31x10.5 on the stock wheels and they're a bit too wide for the rim. The sidewall bulges out and it will rub on the TRE at full right lock.

Can someone post a pic or describe where this piece is attached to the stock tubular spare tire carrier?
