Ordered the MC unit from McGeorge and had it installed. All working as it should...thanks to everyone for the info and support.

No leaks and fluid level looks fine... Booster function test...right around 40sec give or take...was tested 2-3 times over a few days...does 40sec put it in the 'iffy' category? The abs light, brake light, buzzer condition is OFF I did order the MC unit from McGeorge and getting labor quote to...

Agree... It is the condition noted in those threads where you have to use all your leg strength to even achieve any sort of braking...totally unsafe. It is not the condition where there is no pedal resistance and it just flaps to the floor like when you have no brake fluid... Given the age of...

Hmmm...nothing like throwing a wrench into things...LOL...our rack is on its last legs and due for replacement...

Yes...maybe I am a bit all over the place...my apologies. Have been reading thru both threads and both have really good knowledge so figured maybe easier to get an answer... Have updated my question thread to direct to this thread and the thread you reference...

Thanks all who have replied... Agree on the seriousness...re-reading my write up does make it seem like we driving daily and using strong leg muscles to bring 100 to a stop...LOL...we are not. When the condition occurred I found was wholly undrivable but after she sat for a couple weeks we went...

Thanks for the reply... Yes we have been getting the alarm (buzzing), 'brake' light, and 'abs' light BUT intermittently... First time this occurred was in early December with the 'brakes work slightly when pushed really hard' so we parked the 100. When we checked again a couple weeks later...

Posted this question in a separate thread... 2003 LC 100 w/245k miles. We have been having the ABS light/ Brake light/ alarm condition intermittently which causes the undrivable 'no brakes' condition. Being intermittent and not being able to replicate the condition has been very frustrating...

Were you able to source the cat pipe? I inquired locally and was told on backorder...
