Good question. I finished installing the bumper after the sun had set using a flashlight. I was tired and had caved in and drank a couple of beers at that point. The next day the sun came up. I could see. I switched two wires and voila! I felt victorious and kinda silly at the same time. Thanks!

I went back and forth on if I would replace the starter or put new contacts in the original. I decided to pay someone replace the starter because I don't have another vehicle and at the moment I don't have time to spend 6 hours working on my truck and have the potential of it not working out...

I just got all the answers to the same question. Search for: starter contacts. You need a new starter or new starter contacts.
