Get a flap disc and spend $150 at Harbor freight for a flux core welder. Thats an easy fix. Plus its more fun to do it yourself instead of hire everything out. Thats my 40 ethos though, doesn't have to be yours and that's okay

Spent entirely too much money on a rear lift handle (one of the arms on my original was broken and Ive spent months on and off trying to jury rig it). Cleaned my fuse box and ground connections and am now working on fixing a crack in my frame. The projects never end

Can you just use a different sized bolt? I just had to pony up big $ for a new latch handle and Im planning on just using any old bolt that will fit the hole.

I have a 71 and I bought the gasket from CCofTx the other year but I think mine is before 7/71 so it’s not fitting correctly. Any advice on where to find the right gasket or how to get the windows fit? I’ve putting this off for ages. Thank you! I may need to call CCofTx but I thought I’d reach...

I’ve combed the forms but with no luck. I’m trying to paint my 40, Cadet Blue or as similar as possible. Does anyone know the paint code that is similar for PPG or another easy to find company? The original paint code was Toyota T449. Any help would be great. Thank you.
