Tires are 33 X 9.5 X 16 and I'm in an 87 FJ60. It is usually only lightly loaded and sometimes heavily loaded for bush trips. I would sacrifice some ride comfort for MPGs. I drive about 300 miles a week.
According to what it says on the sidewall of my cooper tires I can have a max load of 3000 lbs at 65psi. Is that how much I should put in for on road use?
trying to get my '80 2f started. carb is the trouble right now. just want to plant another one on instead of trying to mess around with this one. i'd also be interested in a new hard fuel line from pump to carb. i've got 40 parts to trade. 385-3852
pulled the hard line at the carb and turned the truck over for 15 seconds. got a bunch of fuel there so the pump is ok. truck will half assed fire and sputter when i pour gas into the carb and then turn it over.

emptied out the fuel filter canister just behind the pump, then cranked the engine over for 15 seconds and the canister was full of juice. but there is no gas at the carb. is there another pump in the carb itself that might be gone? or is the cam activated pump weak? thanks.
