If your going to weld your manifold, your going to have to heat it up nice and hot 500 f and more if possible, i say this because cast iron is brittle and can crack further, and in different spots due to expansion from welding heat.

ok I put a new primer pump on today (old one leaked), presurized the tank and found a hose left unclamped clamped it. But still sputtering action going on, so tommorow night i'll try a pusher pump, and this weekend pull the tank. Thanks again for the replies much appreciated.

X 2 tried the diesel purge with seafoam and standyne didnt do squat, get the injectors rebuilt if there the problem correct spray pattern is key

go in to toyota with a vin number and start from there trick is finding a vin number

x2 check primer pump or replace your feul lines if you have a pin hole leak at one point there might be more and fuel line is not hard to replace other than that worry boot the fuel pump but dont pay more than $1000 to rebuild it i got one done for 750 n if u need i have a spare
