    FJ40 Restoration with a 2UZ / R150 Manual Transmisson

Why not a 2UZ/H55/split case? Seems the better choice to me.

Anybody put Holley EFI on an F2 and regret it?

My has been sitting since august, and I can walk over at any point and it will fire right up, so no. I would use fuel stabilizer if it’s going to be sitting.

Project WTF have I gotten myself into???

Owning your first FJ40 is like losing your virginity: it’s expensive, awkward, and you’re probably going to do it wrong; but none of that stops you from trying again. 😁

    VA restoration/ rust repair shops?

Call Lance at Iron Pig Off Road in Fredericksburg. I think he just hired a new body man (which is good, cause my 60 is there.) :) ironpigoffroad.com

    What do I do now?

I had to build up every point of my header where the bolts should have lined up. Welded a few passes on each one, then ground them flat and used a die grinder to shape the holes. PITA, but it worked.

I don’t think it’s possible; usually we pull both at the same time. I’m sure someone has done it, but I’ve never had success at it.

    2008 Tundra 5.7 P032C

There's a kit out there that bypasses the AIP. I used it when mine went bad at 150K. Here's a link to the bypass kit. Paul is a good dude and easy to reach if you need advice. https://hewitt-tech.com/store/index.php?l=product_list&c=32 If you decide to replace the components, be aware that...

    Turbo charging a Sniper'd 2F FJ60

I'd remote mount it. it'll get real hot under that hood. Intercooler def. Reach out to Jim C. We talked about this years ago, and while my mind has lost that info, I'm sure he's got it tucked away somewhere.

    Recommendation? Welder/Fabricator - VA

I had over ⅓ of my frame replaced recently at Iron Pig off Road. Lance fabricated all new inner plates, new rear crossmember, and all new spring perches, etc. It was a hot mess, and now it's stable and solid. He knows what he's doing with metal, and has a lot of experience doing the frame...

Need some help from you SOA 60's out there

I had stock springs at first (35's) and then had custom springs made in maybe 01 or 02. So a LOONG time ago (we did the SO in '98, I think), but I have 37's on mine and it looks about the same as yours. It may be an inch or so lower, but it's had some time to settle, lol.
