2.5 is a tall enough lift for 33's. It makes everything look still in proportion. If have had both. If you are doing alot of town or highway driving the 4" isn't needed.

I have the Bestop Supertop and it fits great. Easy to take on and off and seals pretty good. I also have the 2 piece doors from bestop, they are very nice. Only had the top and doors since September, but so far so good.

A friend of mine has a set on his cruiser and they seem to be very solid. He just bolted to the bib cowl and running boards. I went with new steel ones for practically the same price. The aluminium ones have a goofy square look I didn't like. I do have their tub, which is excellent.

I have a Belton 2 1/2" lift and it's great. It rides nice and is not too expensive. It came with all new suspension pins, bushings, shackles, leafs, and shocks for $1600 Canadian.

I have a 78 fj40 with stock 4speed transmission and transfer case. Will a transfer case from 81 bj42 work on my transmission. Is there any differences?

I have a Bestop supertop with 2 piece soft doors, they fit great. It has a quick and easy adjustment for when the top is cold or hot, so it always fits tight.

I run 33x12.50 on 8" rims with 3.75 backspace and 1/4" spacers on the front with a 2.5" lift. They clear and look good.
