    Dobinsons 4" Flexi Coils

I did mine without spring compressors, It wasn't hard to do at all. Disconnect the shocks, sway bars, the rear proportioning valve arm at the axle, and the brake lines from the chassis mount and let the axle drop. I had a friend stand on the axle end to push it down while I got the coils in...

    Dobinsons 4" Flexi Coils

If you measure the distance from the center of the hub to the top of the fender, you can compare it to what I have posted and see if it is close to what you have

    Dobinsons 4" Flexi Coils

The weight on the rear of the 80 is about 300lb. I'm trying to get some measurements with specific weights so you guys can see how high it will ride according to different loads. The truck feels more stable than before. It doesn't lean as much as it used to with the J springs, making it feel more...

    Dobinsons 4" Flexi Coils

Yes, the 700 lb coils are going to ride taller than the OME J. A friend is running them and the rig was certainly taller compared to mine with the J springs.

    Dobinsons 4" Flexi Coils

I did ran the dt shocks with the new springs but just for a short trip to the store (about 3miles) and I did notice less lean and a firmer ride. Did not tried them offroad.

    Dobinsons 4" Flexi Coils

Hello everyone! two month ago I was looking to upgrade the rear suspension on my 93 80 series and found out that Dobinsons' springs were being sold here in the US. I was very interested in the 4" coils to replace my OME J springs. After talking to David from Dobinsons, I was set on the new 4"...

Great pictures I'm glad that you guys had fun and that no damage was done to the engine. Being to Richloam numerous times in 3 day camping trips with my Samurai and after the first trip removed all the carpet and drain plugs from the floor so it doesn't float as much :D. I'm down on the T-case...
