This sucks!!! My LX is a DD I don't want to break anything. I went into a local 4x4 shop dealing in mostly Heeps looking for a book on Moab. They said HELL no, no belly clearance, Big holes, rutted out, I was to big and heavy, ect... but if what looks like a stock or minimal upgrades FJ can make...

The local salvage yards are asking $150 for any DS. If it is another $150 to get the work done, why is it worth it to have a Frankenstein DS for $300 vs. getting the Slee DC for another $115. I am in Colorado not to far from Slee though. I would think a DS made from scratch would be stronger...

I have them and HATE them loud on road and traction sucks off, and they float in snow on road expect a slippery ride...FYI

I get good range out of my remote! I would say 6ft on a good day...um yea... I think I will be doing this soon!!!
