Hi you are correct the rh one is the later cover, fairly hard to find. But the 5 speed top will fit with about5mm clearance under the early floor cover. You just have to bend the hi/lo stick to suit because the hole is further forward.

I was in need of a tool box ,catches and lid for my 25 and my 64, so I had a few made in Australia. I'll have the price's sorted next week. I thought I'd post it here for people to see. I will have the later lid in a couple of weeks.

I found an f engine with no F 108007 on it . I can't find any reference to engines with 108 for the first 3 digits. haven't seen the block yet so can't get the date off it. Could it be a truck or forklift engine ;

Finley got time to finish it off. Got it on the road now, done 1500km now and all going well. The only thing I am changing is the Detroit soft lock rear diff centre, its no good on the bitchy. does any one have a picky of the pto winch selector leaver where it bolts to the side of the...

Its is the steering rod that goes from the box to the rh wheel. watch it as you turn the wheel it roles and clunks. All new tie rod ends will fix it.
