Never paid any attention to what year of a taurus we pulled fans from. The motor on the back has a 3 wire plug with large wires, 1 for ground, the others are for hi & low speed. Not sure, but I have never seen a taurus with anything but a 2 speed fan.
Started with a 78, had to replace the frame that came from a 1976, tub from a 77, all that is left from the 78 is the running gear, hood, & aprons. Registered as a 1976
Thanks for the information, from the drawing, looks just like the one I need. I will locate one, & give it a try. Seems like I have to trim everything I put on this thing anyway, part of the fun is making things work.
Does anyone have a part # for a lower radiator hose that will fit the water pump on a 350 SBC, & a griffin aluminum radiator in a 1976 FJ40? The hoses in tech trivia fit the stock cruiser radiator, but it has a 1-1/2 " opening on the radiator, the griffin has a 1-3/4" opening on the radiator...
I installed a set last spring, easy installation, no leaks. Just by looking at them side by side, you can tell that this design is far superior. These seals should stop any leak issues caused by the knuckels not being exactly centered also.
