Everything works as expected, but the doors will not lock.

Recently my remote door lock stopped working. I can still lock the doors with the door switch. It's not the end of the world but I have a compulsion to fix things that don't work. Any suggestions on where to start?

I use a similar method with vacuum line and 32 oz cup filled initially with about 1/2 inch of fluid. Just make sure the line is submerged. I've been bleeding brakes that way for 20 years and never had an issue.
