    Where to buy body panels?

I went to TP Auto Parts - https://tpautoparts.com/ but the site will not load. The template is there, but nothing else. And when I select "make" it only loads 5 and Toyota isn't among them.

    Where to buy body panels?

Both corner channels if not the entire rear quarters on 1975 FJ40. Depending on shipping costs I would consider others as well. One issue I keep running up against with large vendors is the only use overnight carriers which is ridiculously expensive for Alaska delivery. USPS if far cheaper...

    Where to buy body panels?

Looking for body panel vendors. I found this page but it dates back to 2007 and most of the links don't work. The Great Cruiser Parts Link Thread - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/the-great-cruiser-parts-link-thread.191314/ Who do you guys prefer? Is there one that stands out as the best...

Builds New Alaskan FJ40 intro thread

I lived near Fairbanks for the last 5 years until this past summer when I moved to Southwest AK. I had a 77 FJ40 that wasn't running and couldn't find a shop willing to look at it, much less work on it. When I listed it for sale on Facebook Marketplace I talked with several guys who were...

I found the post and the link to me to a Google Spreadsheet. It's not editable. Wish it were. Mine would be the first on the list. Anyway to make it editable or copy it to another location, perhaps here on MUD? https://risingsun4x4club.org/uploads/subzali/2F%20Serial%20Number%20info.xlsx

Just found a 2006 post listing FJ40 values. If we had only known how desirable they'd become.

I mentioned the 80 CJ7, I actually bought it and a 77 FJ40 for $750 four years ago. Motor and trans were shot in the CJ but the body was in excellent shape. The FJ40 was not running, no top, seats shot, tons of rust, but I considered it free with the purchase of the CJ. The CJ is completely...

Just found a 2006 post listing FJ40 values. If we had only known how desirable they'd become.

I just paid $5000 for this one last July. I felt like I got a really good deal in that it was in good running condition. Add that fact that its 95% original with a PTO winch was a huge plus. I've not been able to find out how many 40 Series came with that option but appears to be fairly low...

just bought my 1st FJ40, 1975 barn find

I spent 2019-2021 returning a 1980 Jeep CJ7 to factory original. As close to a full restoration as you can without removing the tub, dash and steering. I had a mechanics help but then the body work was all on me. In doing that I found something I really enjoyed. The goal with the FJ40 is...

Just found a 2006 post listing FJ40 values. If we had only known how desirable they'd become.

Yes, that's where I found it. I'd love to hear people's opinions on where prices are now. I've been watching the FJ40 market for a couple of years now, especially the <8k price range. I'd say the lower end of the range is easily 50if not 100% higher now. Certainly the middle range has...

Just wondering, how much should I have paid for this? I'm confident I got a great deal but interested in your opinions.
