Giant starter in a tiny space.... any tips or tricks to help get this sucker out? I've sprayed the bolts with penetrant and plan on tackling this on my next say off. I seem to recall a thread mentioning removal of a bracket to help access bolts and/or make room for the removal? I cannot...

What's the likely hood of of the starter on my HZJ having 12 teeth? I need to order one and I think I read that some have 11.... I am not in a position to pull it at the moment. thank you

After sitting a couple days it turned over, started, but the starter kept running. Turned off the truck and the starter stopped after another couple seconds. I'm reading thats the sign of a faulty SR? The same issue happened maybe twice over the last 6 months where the starter would keep...

Is there such a thing? I need a 28300-56020 starter relay for my 1990 HZJ73 are there any other part numbers that fit the bill? thanks!

Not starting, Starter clicking strong. Batts fully charged. Tapping starter not helping. My question is IF the starter RELAY is bad would I be getting a click at the STARTER itself? Just trying to narrow down my problem. thank you
