No sound over a speed bump that I recall. Feels/sounds like it's coming from under the car at the level of the front console but poorly localized. Certainly does not hear like it's more front/rear/left/right.
I have an 07 lx470 with 190k. 3-4 years ago upon purchase I had the driveline clunk which went away transiently (for about 500 miles) with lubrication and eventually went away with regular maintenance (every 5k miles) (had been neglected before my purchase). For the last few months+ I've been...
To close the loop on this the slot just needed lubrication. Initially I tried the graphite stuff for locks which didn't help. Second I hit it with wd40 and I've been good since.
Thanks for weighing in, sounds like I'm on the right track. I feel like the two have to be related or ine is causing the other to trip. After clearing the codes the first time they both came back immediately. The height sensor code showing up just a second or two before the pressure sensor code...
Last night I reinstalled the height sensor again after removing to test. Simultaneously I checked all the fuses under the hood and by the drivers left foot. I also unhooked the battery for an hour. Connected techstream again, cleared codes and they did not return immediately as they did before...
Height sensors are original as far as I know. I just tested the rear sensor and it is giving me values to spec. 4.07 at one extreme (4.05 is spec for HI) 0.29 at the other extreme (0.45 is spec for LO) and 2.29 in the middle (2.25 is spec for N). I guess I can test the fronts too while I'm at it...
After 3+ years the AHC is striking again. On a short 15 min trip this morning I felt the rear end suddenly very stiff right away out of the driveway jarring the vehicle over small bumps, about 2 miles later the AHC off light started flashing. Upon arrival to my destination I found the rear end...
Thanks for this solution. I'm trying to figure out which Y adapter I need. It looks like there are two. One "6+6 ITEM NO.:AP0170" the other "5+7 ITEM NO. : AP0171" which one is it? Thanks!
It was also raining heavily at the time. I'm thinking water in a speed sensor connector? I have techstream setup however catching the problem when it happens will be difficult. I was thinking of putting some dielectric grease at those connectors and see how it goes.
ABS ECU experts please advise. My wife was driving my 07 lx a few days ago when the brake, abs, ?trac, ?vsc, ?skid lights lit up while she was driving it. She thinks they stayed lit for awhile, no CEL, and no buzzer. The car was driving normal as far as she knows. She's put another 500 miles on...
Looks like there are alot more options now than there were 3 years ago. Unfortunately they are probably all garbage. I still have my old upholstery. Maybe I'll just have it repaired.
I had major quality issues from day one. They basically said sorry not sorry and would do nothing to fix the issues or compensate me for the defective product. Fortunately my credit card company refunded me. I'll probably dye the bolster in a year or so to hide the cracks but I doubt I get more...
I'm thinking that it is the "key warning switch" aka " "unlock warning switch". The ignition still functions normally otherwise so I don't think the rod is snapped. Also the fault is intermittent. When it occurs I can insert and remove the key a time or two and the problem stops. It seems that...
07 lx 198k developed a strange issue this morning. After removing the key the car continued to ding (like the keys were in the ignition), the steering wheel did not retract back as it usually does, and the car would not lock (I assume because it thought the keys were in the ignition). I guess...
