It was, I believe he told me that. The Japanese made ones that were imported had ambulance doors in the back.
So agree with that. I thought about getting long arms, cross over steering, 4 wheel disc brakes, etc.
But then I was like. WAIT. There are trucks that come like this already. I like...
Hey man try sending that PM again I fixed it I think.
Yea I HATE mud. I've taken the Cherokee once to Ocala around Hard Rock and Jeeptoberfest and Alpha Pit. It was so damn fun. I dented a rocker a bit though.
I actually live in Doral right next to 41st and go there a few times.
Your 80 is so...
Yea I hate it that with 3.5" RE lift it clears only 31s. Unibody is what creaks then lol.
Nice looking Cherokee though.
Hahaha that's funny man. I'm sending you a PM right now so I can see what looks like your badass FJ80 in your avatar. Would be nice to see a built one in person...
Dammit I want 15 MPG! That's awesome on 37s. 11MPG on 30s is just embarrassing for me.
Basically same story as you. Loved it when I got it (August) but now 7 months later it just rides horrible even though I have Bilstein 5100s all around.
Oh by the way, no lie 10 minutes ago I went to get...
Aha! I see. 95+ then haha.
Yea, that is true. What am I doing this weekend? Replacing the steering box and pitman arm, welding my floor, and putting on my winch bumper that has been sitting due to the steering box. If I can, change the injectors, front u joints, and put on the muffler. Work...
I really want to get an 80. I currently have to put on the bumper, muffler, steering box and other various bits that I have already bought for the Jeep and then I guess I will sell it, since I will not be buying more for it. Just doesn't give me that feeling you know?
What about the red 94'...
Yea the $1900 one was the questionable one. However, the second one with 86K, possibly a typo? He has a legit phone number.
I see your point in the getting a Toyota. What Jeeps if I may ask?
Hey guys I currently have a 1999 Jeep Cherokee Limited (blasphemy for saying those words on this forum!), and the reason I am here is because my Dad lives in South America and has a 1997 FZJ80 with manual transmission and part time 4WD.
The thing is that I bought the XJ (Cherokee)...
Saw this in CL, says it comes with an extra transmission and front axle. Was involved in minor wreck, but for the price, what do you think? Worth it to check out or too many issues?

Bringing this back with a question. Is it possible to import this FZJ80 into the USA, particularly the state of Florida? I believe Florida doesn't have any emissions control.
Just wondering and didn't want to create a new thread.
The FZJ80 is carbed, would that make it hard to import?
