I have the ARBs. I do not know the tube wall thickness, but I haven't bent them, yet. As much as they weigh, it should be pretty thick.
Get "rock rails" instead of step sliders. The farther out they stick, the easier to bend or get caught on obstacles.

#1 fish eye mirrors
#2 tires
#3 3" lift
#4 front skids/sliders
#5 front bumper and winch
That'll get you through the first month. Then I'd start with the cool stuff (CO2/on board air, skids for the rest of the under carriage, new rack, real rear bumper... you'll be doing this...

Noisy, but you can't have all that metal stuck up in the air and expect it to be quiet.

I don't remember where I read this, so I cannot back this up. But, Toyota's original plan for the FJ Cruiser was a 5 year run only, no descendants. So, I don't see it being replaced after the 2011 model year anyway.
