Thanks for the replies, gents. Yes I did check all fuses, including the engine bay and behind driver's and passenger side kick panels. When I pulled the rear AHC sensor, I cleaned up the tracks with a q-tip and some maf spray cleaner. I could see ridges as mentioned. My issues occur...
