I had same thing happen to me in Bucees parking lot. But that was on me due to using the closest cheap part I could find at the moment. Make sure to replace with Aisin brand bracket.
Yes, a bad fuel injector could be the issue. Certainly worth a closer inspection.
I know there is a thread (or more) where someone else had this issue with the injector causing the misfire.
Just purchased my 2007 LX and had the tick tick tick at idle. Got curious after reading FAQ and sure enough, 1 plug driver side was able to be removed by hand, 2 others were barely snug at all. Tick has stopped since then. Glad to had read that...
I just replaced my factory radiator at 302k on my new to me ‘98. No leaks, minimal discoloration/stress cracks, but I’m doing a full baseline and had it apart for timing belt/WP/VC gaskets anyway. Replaced a busted shroud and the hoses as well...
Search titles only for things like "OEM parts", limited to the 100 section. There's several threads, recent ones too. Recent thread too on a discount deal lots hop on.
Update: My ECU failed. The problem had nothing to do with the ignition coils and we were told the Denso ones we have still look good so they are going back in. Also doing new OEM spark plugs because the old ones were looking worn out and after...
Gotta shout out Rubber City Land Cruisers in The Cleveland / Akron area. Jesse is as solid as they come. My 60 needed a pretty robust mechanical baselining to correct leaky exhaust manifolds, rear main, oil pan gasket, and so much more. I also...
If you remove your upper radiator hose and it looks like this, I'd certainly change it. That's going to crumble soon, just like all the heater T's. Most OE radiator seem to fail at the seal between the end tank and the core. Shrinks over time or...
Time for some learning! This thread has most everything you'd need to know.
You'll want to fill and bleed as a first step and go from there.

I would recommend against getting the T-belt kit on Amazon. There have been reports of potential fakes on here. The Aisin kits used to be sold on Rock Auto, but appear to have potentially been de-listed. Several legit Land Cruiser builders sell...
Aftermarket gaskets are rarely a gamble worth taking, IMO. So often they're the wrong material and only "kind of" the right shape.
If there's anything you should pony up the premium $$ for OEM parts, it's gaskets.
My LX was missing the owner’s manual when I bought it last week. I registered it on mylexus, and found a spot to request a manual. Look what showed up in the mail today!
There are coolant lines around the oil filter for cooling. Those aren't that tough to replace while the coolant system is drained.
The other thing I'd look are where the coolant hoses mate to the aluminum thermostat housing inlet and the...
There’s a rad cap included in the shopping cart, the thermostat and t’s were done in august.
I’m actually just wondering what other parts I might be missing in terms of hose replacement.
How is the status of the rest of your coolant system? Radiator cap and thermostat (with gasket) are cheap insurance. What about the heater T's?
Make sure you flush the system out very well, to insure all the residual green coolant is out...
Thanks. I will check all those things after I clean up the components. There is some rusting on the spline. The grease cap (dust cap) was on real tight and snug so I don't think it came from there but I cannot be 100% sure. If I can get to it...
