I just got done with a similar install in my 100 series. Used the new Chins 100ah heated LiPo battery with Victron Solar & DC DC charger. It appears to work great!

Should have been cruising the 200 series forum. Those guys have lots of cash and cool ideas… https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/lifepo4-battery-sizes-that-fit-in-200-drawer-wings.1238084/

Or… build the battery box into the step up under the switches and outlets. I’d need to source the carpeted panels.

Who has pics of the space you gain by removing the dvd player? That battery @xeuxaz linked to is less than 6” wide. I hate ripping into the interior and pulling stuff out, but no one uses the dvd player any more.

2006 w AHC and King springs in the rear. Tow a 6 1/2 x 10 single axle for all the dirty and heavy tasks. Nice thing is I can drag it around the lawn with the tractor to keep the 6500# Moose off the lawn. Yes, it is another asset to...

Curious if anyone has figured a sweet solution to carry a house battery in the area of the “fit kit” on an ARB drawer setup? Some of these lithium batteries are small enough that a creative solution might exist. Maybe a 50ah on each side? I...

Had mine replaced today. Original OEM came out, bit out surface corrosion on driver side that we coated with a little POR and then primered the rivet holes before new rivets were inserted. My local Cruiserhead garage recommended the...

If they've been sitting awhile, spiders seem to love to make webs in the air tubes which, no matter how hard you blow them out, you really need a pipe cleaner up in there to clear them. Mud daubers also seem to like to build nests in air tubes...

@hoser I am trying to carefully remember the process of mounting the bumper, but don’t recall cutting. Unless it was perhaps trimming of the frame horn? Is that right? I know you drill to “pin” the bumper but I don’t remember cutting.

For my 2006, the OEM was 16400-50290 and with discount from Olathe it was $481. https://parts.olathetoyota.com/oem-parts/toyota-radiator-assembly-1640050290

I'd go OEM. The cooling system is so important to the engine you don't want anything to go wrong. I got a replacement OEM to go along with my timing belt change, this week.

My 06 LC is just knocking on 200k. This winter I kicked off a TB/WP replacement that ended up with most of the front of the motor renewed. Pulleys, belts, and brackets. (See build thread). It is easily the quietest running V8 I’ve ever heard...
