FYI, this wrench really helped with the rear bolt of the brake line relocation on the HDJ81. I’m assuming it’s nestled next to the fuel tank on the US 80’s as well.

I have discarded my factory cats on my 1995 truck for a single one with the exhaust now going over the frame. After talking with WhiteKnuckle they suggested I actually buy their 93/94 sliders as the cat protection is layed out a little...

I personally found it difficult to get the spacer over the longer bolt and to then get it to line up with the hole in the frame. After I installed the 1" body lift, I was able to easily put it in from the top side of the frame rail. Getting the...

Enjoy the brake line relocation. All the write-ups I read were discussing how the pass side was more difficult with the cats. That one went on in ~10 mins. Moving the brake line took forever for me.

@twitchfury, Replace the fuel filter that is mounted underneath the intake manifold. This is different from the fuel strainer in the tank. Your 93 model does not incorporate a MAF. The air intake is measured by the volume of air not the mass...

I ordered a set as well. My eBay DEPOs had a leaky DS and I’m sick of fighting it. I’m glad this thread came up with the links to cars245. Maybe I’ll see my new set tomorrow 😯

They're glass. The upper & lower plastic trim isn't as good as OEM but easy to swap your old trim onto them, fitment is good.

Can confirm the 'stock' DEPO's are good replicas, way better output than 4x6 quads. I can test some original 30yo housings against the new DEPO's tonight and get some photos.

hmm, i wonder if these have a better cut-off or pattern than the US housings with 9005/9006 bulbs i changed to euro pattern headlights in my '88 BMW M3 with H1 bulbs and the beam pattern improved dramatically with a nice sharp cutoff. mine are...

My, what polite responses. There’s so much information about this on MUD, it’s like asking a question about tire sizes and choices. The OEM lights were very good in the 1990’s and they suck now in the 2020’s. Anyone who doesn’t believe that...

As far as I know that piece was only serviceable with an entire new door card. I brought mine to a reputable upholsterer only after I peeled away the fake-leather and glued the plastic pieces together so it wouldn’t crumble any further.

I let it sit in the sun and I was able to rip them off. I just ordered that eraser disk. The remaining adhesive is going to be a pain…. Thanks for all the advice!

This is a surprisingly useful tool that will get the residue / adhesive off pretty easily:

Get it out in the sun and use heavy test fishing line to "cut" them free.

Adhesive-backed plastic strips supporting aluminum rails, with a screwed-down plastic cap at each end. Pulling the side rails and filling the holes while leaving the ribs on is like taking a shower and then putting your dirty shorts back on.

If it has black ribs with a screwed-down cap at each end, it had a rack. Or, someone bought a rack and only bothered to install the ribs.

This is the Whiteline front adjustable panhard bar and it has been fantastic. I've got their heavy duty rear swaybar as well. I built my own rear panhard bar for about $30 many years ago.

With a Dobinson 3.5" lift (really 5" lift) it was pretty clear I needed a front panhard bar. The driver's side wheel was at least 1" further out compared to the passenger side I purchased a Whiteline adjustable panhard and installed to fix it...

It’s quite possible that there is a tooth or two now missing from the ring and pinion gear set. Jack up the front axle, put the transfer case in neutral, then rotate the drive shaft by hand. You’ll know when you come to the broken off teeth if...
