Do you have cardboard or similar in front of your rad? I image it has been pretty cold up there. If you are getting a positive read on the temp gauge when you have your circ heater plugged in I'm thinking your rig is not generating enough/any heat due to loss from the cold (and driving in it)...

The frame boss the frame I can't help but wonder about a crusty can spec frame and your plan for using a 5.9 cummins. Is the frame up to this task? Do you have any reinforcements planned?
