Hi,
Just had the brakes done on my 62 , new rotors , calipers S.S. lines & pads in the front and new shoes and wheel cylinders in the back . also installed a new master cylinder while I was at it .
Went to pick it up and the tech said everything was fine but the pedal felt a little odd...
They are both off of 89's and in good shape .just upgraded to OME . I was hoping someone locally would be in need but I will talk to ups inthe next few days
I get some where around 13-14 in town 16 at 65-70 on the freeway and 14 at 80 :hhmm: with a 6.0 & 4L80 in my 89' 62 with stock gears and 32 / 11.5s as far as power is concerned it scoots right along :p
I just went thru the same thing with my 6.0 turned out to be the sender unit..... be careful If you ground out the lead to the gauge to test the gauge it's self , if you do it for to long it will fry it ...........I learned the hard way :o
