Awesome! Thank you for the link I ordered the vcv valve that goes to the fj80. the fj60 vcv's are discontinued but the one for the fj80 is the same minus a different angled hose tube. Should work just fine! I can always count on mud!

Ok I'll check that out. I know I've replaced every hose with my carburetor and radiator but the distributor hoses were last on my list. Thank you!

hello all, I have an 85 fj60 landcruiser 100% stock under the hood. Around this time of the year (when it starts to get warm out) I get this odd pop, sort of like cracking a soda pop can open, then shortly after I get this smell which is identical to lighting a match and blowing it out...

Cannot provide photos as of right now as I am on vacation without my cruiser:( but there is a bit of sagging in the rear and I pulled a shock off not to long ago when I was just checking things out and it was no good.

I know how to 4wd and I'm experienced with cruisers just not so much the differentials. I was looking into lockers because I wanted to tackle larger obstacles such as the rubicon trail.

No they don't know anything. Just from meeting people with 4x4's always tell me I can't do a lot of stuff without the lockers. And I am buying a winch the next weekend:p

Yeah I'm not gonna get a locker now until sometime into the future. Just save my money for now

Used to go with a friend a lot where we would help each other out but he goes to school in Utah and my other friends don't have 4x4's. Maybe I should look for more friends.
