How are the pipe and other penetrations sealed through the concrete? I wouldn't think the spray on "tar" would be enough, with expansion and contraction and all.
@hkeller , there is a flexible rubberized-cloth "band aid" that is applied around every vent stack, penetration, and cold joint (between concrete pours). Also, the tar/asphalt product that is sprayed on over, does not completely harden, but always remains a little bit flexible.
