Here are the remnants of the stock mud flaps. I used painters tape to create my cut line and then hacked away at the plastic with a small cutting wheel on my dremel. I cleaned up the edges with a razor blade. Once I put the flaps back on, some of the plastic was hanging low, so again, used the razor blade to cut off the excess.
