It needs to go in 1.5" more.
I get to cut more off the back to get the bumper in any further.

hey if you want to run 15" wheels the Mickey Thompson 15" Classics will work. They have 3.65" b/s and I think are 8.5" wide.

I think I got mine at 4wheelparts. They were around $115 each shipped, real good price if you ask me. They are alloy not steel. I got my 35x12.5 tires, Cooper Discoverer STT, for about $230 each shipped out of SoCal, can't recall the place off the top of my head. I went for this set up because it was dirt cheap. I would prefer a 17" wheel and a 37 but that gets very expensive fast. Wasn't ready to drop that kind of money when I bought tires plus 37s open up a can of worms. You will have to grind your rear calipers though to fit the 15" wheels. Not a concern for me but it did take 2-tries before I had no rub, on and off-road. A 1/4" or 1/2" wheel spacer in back would also work, that was on there when I got the truck but I removed them and ground the calipers. Happy with the STTs so far, seem to be a long wearing tire and are plenty aggressive. hardo to beat a 35" shipped for $230.

Depending on your rear springs a 1" spacer may work to level it out. I have HD 863Js in the back so I had to do a 2" spacer in front. But my truck is real level now, I dislike the stink bug look.

Cheers

RMP&O thank you for your input, that is some good info.
I'm going for the ST Maxx 35s $220 per.
I was blessed with a set of aluminum 15s for free with 3.5" BS not the greatest thing for wheelen, but will do for now. I have 1.5" wheel spacers on there now they should fit.

As for the stink bug, I can't believe OME lift is so off. The 2.5" mediums got me 2" in front & 3.5 in rear here's a pic.
20150104_101935.jpg

I have loaded every heavy thing I have in the back just to see how it would look and it needs one more inch of lift in front. If i knew i would of just gone with Js. But that gets into driveline, panrod stuff etc... That's a different story...

Looks sharp. That is a funky bumper, looks like someone's home-made and cut the bash bars out of an ARB and incorporated them into the design. FWIW, my OME lift measures over 2" higher in the rear than the front.

Looking good! I'm in the same boat as you on the rear being lifted 3.5". I finally installed my rears tonight and they are definitely coming back out.

I think I'm going to build a stinger out front & maybe support for them with outriggers or something.

Why does OME do that?
It's almost better to add spacers to the OME 3/4" lift replacment ones in the rear or the regular stock non mod springs to level. The other option which I will be doing is to put in the the 1"/ 25mm spacer up front.
I hope and pray that it won't cause driveline problems. As per mudders here it will. We will very soon find out, I allready have them here at the house I just need to find time to do it...

It looks like it's supposed too match the front with the ability to haul an extra 200lbs. The way mine is sitting, it would need 500lbs to come close to level. Im going back to stock springs with a 1" spacer as soon as they show up.

Well with me sitting on the tailgate @ 220 + it only goes down .5" so that will be just perfect when I get the 1" spacer in front.

Now my favorite 80s.

Had to double check I didn't run into chat.

Learn my lesson, Don't do this.

15" aluminium wheel test fit.

With 1.5" wheel spacers my 15" aluminum rims with 3.5" BS will fit with 5/8" of room.

1" front spacer install..
No more stink bug. Amazing what 1" of lift can do.

I also added a 2.5"x1.5" tubing under the stock shocks this will make them 16.5" comp. & 26.5" ext. My static height is 23". So with the 10" travel shock that's 3" down & 7" up.

Thanks.
If you already have the tires & wheels with the right backspace just go for it... It's about bottom dollar when you're on a budget. What rims & BS do you have? I will be getting a set of streetlocks for myself. Here's a pic.

I actually got some time to test'er out with the new 35s.
We have a ways to go to get maximum flex out of this suspension.
I'm 1" spaced out to far from recommend by mudders with the wheels & they are rubbing rather than tucking in. THIS WILL GET FIXED SHORTLY.
Down travel is also terrible. Shocks are maxed out to 26" ext. with the OME 851+ 1" spacer. Coils are still retained.

Almost tucked in 35s

When I got the rims for free I did not take in consideration of the 1" more backspace of the 15" wheels. This now puts the tire to far out. The result of this miscalculation is the tires are not tucking into the fender well & are hitting the outer edge of the fender.
To fix this delima, I will need to reduce the wheel spacing.
Current specs are 1.5" wheel spacers with a 3.5" BS wheel. My stock wheels are 4.5 backspace. If you do simple math I need to reduce by 1" BUT that would require a 1/2" spacing. With the 15s this will most likely rub on the caliper. I will be working on ASAP.

Hey hey

I just recently picked up a stock can as well. Also picked up j springs but I don't have any of the other parts for the rest of the kit. Is it okay to just install the springs?
