Got a quick question - a friend and I are headed south tomorrow for a few days in the desert.

He's got a 2005'ish Dodge Ram 1500 and doesn't have any recovery gear (I've got most/all of what we'll need except a tow strap).

What's a good recommendation for a tow strap - something that could be picked up locally - and tow either of our vehicles if necessary (mine is a UZJ100)?

Thanks!

Need something big with those vehicles. 4" wide strap is what I'm thinking. SE overland has them right now. Not affiliated, just a satisfied customer.

Thanks for the recommendation!

We have a bunch of ARB straps in stock right now! Unless you get that truck buried in mud you should be fine with a 3" but stepping up to a 4" strap will really give you piece of mind. Even when you have to snatch that big of a rig out of the mud.

@Southeast Overland / Jeff - Do you have a link to one on your website?

Got back early and didn't need one, but looked on your website before I left and couldn't find a tow (static) strap and am still in the market. Thanks!
