The pressure's done been unreal for me to start a new thread on my latest project.:eek:

(Actu'ly Fireman just called me and asked what I was doin'.:lol:)

So ... just like I promised him ... here's the new thread By Gawd. :grinpimp:

:flamingo:

Is it locked?

Still on the same track as what we last discussed? Inquiring minds want to know...

Not at all sir. :D

Reckon you and I are the only ones that read this here forum anymore.

:flamingo:

Whats this I read that You and Fireman are the only ones reading????

I come and visit and read whenever there's something to read...

Now spill the beans of what it it that you're wroking on, even if it's the Scooter....:hillbilly:

Reckon so Bossman.

Bought 'er last April 28th with cash from liquidatin' my assets. Found 'er on AutoTrader.com outta North Carolina. One owner, no smokin', no pets. 50k original miles and never driven in the winter. Pulled a tiny lil' 5th wheel RV around in the summer to visit the grandkids. 2002 7.3L shortbed, extended cab and with full leather. No dents, coupla minor scratches. A real cream puff and as close to showroom perfect as you'll ever find in an 11 year old truck. Paid too much but got exactly what I wanted. It's the Kowboy way. :flipoff2:

Now that I've owned 'er a year and squirreled away another pile of cash ... let the games begin. :grinpimp:

That's good truck but not necessarly a crawler... but at least it's a 4wheel drive in I think it says in the bylaws that we're suppose to own one regardless if it's a toyota... good job and a good choice of truck even if it's ford and not a cummins

now what's the purpose of this truck?....carrying a camper and a little trailer for the scooter for them long trips to Daytona:hillbilly:

Where?

It will be ready before the Palmetto or whatever Domek calls his old Tiajuana Bus.

Anythang'll crawl if ya sink enuf money into it ... just ain't gonna be no good 'tween a mess of trees. :meh:

Actu'ly meant to be more of a campin' rig/tow rig than a crawler tho.

Carryin' a camper and a lil' trailer for the scooter ... and a crawler. :steer:

I'm still here, by gawd!

Best news I've heard all day.

It will be ready before the Palmetto or whatever Domek calls his old Tiajuana Bus.

We'll see. :grinpimp:

:flamingo:

Bring it to GSMTR we got plenty of gravel roads.

Lance and the crew at Iron Pig Off Road have agreed to do the build. :bounce::clap::bounce:

Be keepin' the money in the Ty-ota family. :grinpimp:

Envelope's gotta lil' check in it to cover some of the parts they gotta order.

Unfortunately ... few of the items have a friggin' 8-week delivery. :frown::frown:

Go fetch the truck tomorrow from the diesel shop that's been doin' the engine and transmission upgrades so I'm pretty excited 'bout that. :bounce2::steer::bounce2:

:flamingo:

I'm just happy to see you posting again sir. What's the plans for this pickemup truck?

Yawn!

This thread is useless without pics. Start with the chicks you were throwing money at before you bought the creampuff.

Congratulations on starting a new project. Everyone needs something to do.
Happy Trails! N

What's the plans for this pickemup truck?

To see how much money I can spend on one vehicle. :grinpimp:

Meanwhile ...

This past winter when I was workin' in Baltimore, my travels occasionally had me passin' by this here small shop on a two-lane blacktop outside a lil' Maryland town. I was intrigued by it since there was always a collection of diesel Ford's in the parkin' lot. Few weeks ago I stopped in for a visit and found the owner to be a young man that was incredibly knowledgeable 'bout PowerStrokes. His cool bid'ness card lists his title as "PowerStroke Specialist".

He builds 'em up for truck pulls and drag racin' with huge horsepower but also builds 'em to order for anythang else. In the second pic you can see my truck in the background. The truck by the sign is his ... runs a friggin' 11.6 in the quarter-mile.
