Tail gate latch (1 Viewer)

Wanna see what you all have used for a tail gate latch.
Was looking at a PAIR of the Mcmaster Carr locking latches, but theyre pretty spendy for what they are. 30 bucks a piece.

No one has done an aftermarket and or built their own tail gate and gotten or made a latch for it??

Thaks for the link. I like the idea of using the factory latches, but as I'm to understand they are hard to come by. That was actually my original plan till I discovered that L hand latch is all but non existent any more.

Hence the consideration of aftermarket type latches. My rig is nowhere near stock so I'm looking for something good and functional.

You can turn an OEM left into a right and vice versa.

I think you can get Ehsan latches from Southboston, also.
