Wow, I gotta say looks like you did a awsume job. I'd -almost- hate to get it dirty!

Holy smokes.... beautiful build there mate!

droooollllll:cool:

sweet ride!

Thanks fellas, that is only stage 1 of the build. Im starting stage 2 after christmas which will involve hard roof canvas canopy, rooftop tent, roofrack and intercooling. Engine at present puts out 167hp at the rear wheels at 18 psi of boost (pump is played with alot). The engine is far from standard, bored out 60 thou, armourlite pistons, highflowed ct26, full mandrel 3 inch exhaust strait through using the original 2 3/4 dump pipe as it made 7 hp less with a custom 3 inch dump pipe ( unreal hey)

outstanding job! looks great!
Where did you pick up the custom DI Turbo 4.0 12H-T sticker?

i just drew it up and took it to my local graphics guy and he made them up for me:cheers:

hood,
what is that scoop from? that is one of the best looking hood mods i have seen in 30 years.

nice build.

nice build.

I think the bonnet is from www.frp.com.au - fibreglass item that resembles the new V8 turbo diesel VDJ 76, 78 and 79 bonnets. Not cheap.

the wheels in waynes head are turning. I wonder if the FRP replica or the OEM hood is the best route to go if you want to buy a pre-manufactured one.
One of those hoods would look unreal on that troopy your building...

That's a work of art!

12HT and H55F are such a great combo, not to mention overbored 12HT. 1Tuf, you have an amazing truck.

email sent for price ...
can't be more than what Gozzard wanted to make one from scratch.

hood was $770 AU
Entire build done by me in my shed including purchase price of original 75 ute, engine and paint (im a diesel fitter by trade and ive been painting since i was 14) cost just shy of $25000 AU
