Seems pretty straight forward, but that seems to be the pitfall of most things :)
Any tips or stories of caution?

Anyone install the SOR systems ?

alot of this stuff is still available from the dealer but you have to bring them the part #. which part didn't they have?

9046123063 superseeds to 90461-23469 a

9046123071 superseeds to 90461-23087 c

I don't know if they are available or not.

So is part #5 in SOR's diagram still available from the dealer? Looks like SOR's runs above the skid plate while the stock one ran below. Better when ran above except when you have a PTO. Then it gets in the way:crybaby: Does any one have a Toyota part number for #17? Also find it interesting the the header pipe #5 is shown 1958 thru1962 for the FJ25 no longer available, the 1963 thru 1974 FJ40 is still available in SOR's price list. First the FJ25 ended in 1960 and the FJ40 started 1961. Plus both the FJ25 and early FJ40 shared the same F135 engine:confused: I would think this pipe would work on the FJ25. The last time I bought a new header pipe from Toyota it was under twenty dollars:frown: That was in the early nineties:rolleyes:

I just ordered #5 from SOR for my 64 fj40...

I would be interested in getting #17 as well, if i could find it :)

that is the heat shield/insulator:
PN# 17551-60020

it does show up as a valid#:
1755160020$43.93$0.00$35.14INSULATOR, MUFFLER

Thank's Johnny I'll have to check it out. The floor heat may not be that big of deal in NY but in AZ it's a killer. I installed one on my 68 and it helped. Being in the desert it's a one time purchase, it should last a life time here:)

Anyone know way the header pipe off the later F engines wouldn't work on a 25?
