what size threads does the water temp sender have? I wanna tee it off for an aftermarket sender too.

The threads in the head are M16 x 1.5. I moved the factory sender forward and used the stock hole for my aftermarket mechanical gauge using Autometer adapter number 2275. The hole forward was not deep enough for the mechanical sender which is why I moved the factory sender there.
