Real Time Help-DS Bolt Sequence (1 Viewer)

Hey Guys,

Dont flame me for this, i read in many posts to remember or record the bolt, washer, nut sequence for both driveshafts, but i didnt. I guess I was in a hurry to get them off.

I want to finish up my car, but this is holding me back.
Also, the FSM doesnt have the exact sequence, they have a drawing.

All i need is the seqeunces for the diff ends, as the output shafts are studded, so they get a washer, then the nut.

IIRC the bolt and washer go on from the u-joint side, the nut in the flange side. The front shaft hardware torques to 54 ft-lb, rear shaft 65 ft-lb.

Howdy! Mondays are like that sometimes. I've been doing fab work all weekend, so what do I do, but go and slice my hand open on the rusty corner of my barbeque grill as I throw it into the dumpster. DuH!! John
