who makes a after market air cleaner for a asian carb without the center stud?

Why don't you use the F aircleaner? I ran (temporarily) an aftermarket aircleaner held on with a hose clamp. The carb is a 3" throat....but you already knew that.

I assume by your user name and avatar pic you have a '79?

If so, by looking at the pic below ('79 ish) there's not another choice unless you fab up some sort of adapter, then again, there's nothing to hold it down but the stud........

Here's one using a Weber box welded to a 3" 90* vent pipe elbow used on gas hot water heaters........

I can get you 3 more configurations when I return to work on Monday....

actually this ones for my fathers 78. He changed carbs and cant use his original cleaner because thers no stud on it.
