Anyone have experience doing this, or does the suspension need to be fully extended for installation? It appears that the metal limiting strap will intefere with bushing installation, which suggests that you can't simply line them up all ready to go before pulling the wire.

I'm not sure about the ome shocks, but in general, shocks only dampen the movement, they are not springs. While it might be slow, I would think that you can hand compress them to the height needed, then they should stay put while you install them.

not if they are gas charged. they will extent full out. it is a PITA but you just have to put one end on then compress the other and geti it on quickly. have fun...

You can compress them with hands and install them. They will extend on their own all the way.

i just did this last weekend. You can compress them by hand no problem.

With my gas charged shocks i like to attach them to the spring plate, and then jack the spring plate into position. Makes it easy.
