Came across these rims a couple of weeks ago. They're 15" from a drum brake 40. Anybody know if they'll fit on my 62?

"Why don't you just take them out of your cruiser and test fit them?" you may ask. Well, 'cause I'm a dumbass. I've already dropped them off for powder coat. I've searched MUD all day today and can't find any reference to 60 series and OEM steel 15" rims. Only the 16".

Thanks for any help!

If they are drum brake wheels, w/ the riveted centers, there is no way they will fit. It's not just the rivets that interfere w/ the caliper. The center of the disc vs. drum wheels are different shapes and the drum wheel will rub on the caliper.

That being said, I have seen 1975 FJ40/55 with drum brakes and "disc" wheels. They upgraded the wheels before upgrading to discs.

......They upgraded the wheels before upgrading to discs.

long before disc's were put on the trucks.

i have an early month 1974 dated wheel......that is welded.

Nevermind. Got it figured out. Thanks for you patience!
