So I read in here about putting a mid 90s ford escort heater motor in to replace the tired cruiser front heater motor. I ordered a motor but it is larger than the cruiser motor (I have a 72 cruiser), did I missunderstand? At this point I need to either switch squirrel cages (if thats even possible) or cut the opening bigger. The escort motor look very similar it's just too big to fit in the present hole.
Thanks for any help.
