I had a dry spindle problem and the brass bushing looks toast. There are alot of brass flakes in the knuckle housing grease. Is that a problem. ?
Truck had recent (6 months ago) axle job done.

Thanks

Yes it is a problem but it is fixable (two totally different ways IIRC maybe more but 1- replace spindles with newer roller bearing type or 2 replace brass bushing itself if nothing else is injured in there)- give cruiserdan a call and politely ask for his advice and his parts. HTH.

Sorry Doug, 1997 TLC Had bad vibration Searched here and found dry spindle as the problem. Removed spindle and found back side of bushing worn down...... no groove... and brass flakes in the grease around birf

Thanks again
