I have a 7/69 FJ40LV with the long rear jump seats and no roll bar. I purchased a set of NOS OEM seat belts as they were advertised for the rear seats. How do they mount? Has anyone added these? Thanks!:cheers: Brendon.

Anyone? Hasn't anyone added seat belts to the rear long jump seats? Any advice or pictures would be appreciated. Thanks!

You could always drill a hole through your wheel well and put a 7/16" or 1/2" grade 8 bolt through it. If you went that route, I would definitely add a plate or some flat bar as a brace on the bottom side so it won't rip through the sheet metal as easily in case the seat belts are actually needed.

If you really want to be safe about it, install a cage, tie it to the frame and attach your seat belts to the cage.

Good luck!

Forgot to mention that, those are needed indeed.
