One man's junk is another's treasure. Considering what you can buy a 'complete' and running '92 80 series...I wouldn't pay $2k, but that's just me...and I don't know %^$#.
 
I'd say no - the locking diff mentioned must only be a center diff on a 92. Lots of work at best, and you can't hear it run/drive it in it's current condition.
 
It's worth it if you have the time any energy. Just from those pics it looks like a lot of work. Wait until you see it in person. $2,000 could be a good deal.

Do you want it for parts or to put back on the road?
 
Thanks for the input. I stared adding up parts prices i.e. 2 fenders, a hood, grill, paint, bumper, radiator, AC condensor etc. and lost interest.
 
Unless your a killer body man, it needs an entire front clip...the frame horns and apron look to be mangled. Price a front clip + labor + refinishing and factor in the PITA factor and arrive at...umh your call. Then compare vs a running complete rig.
 
I did a quick check and found a front clip for $2000. Add all the other goodies and it turns into some serious $$$.
Forget it and move on!
